Rivera Engineering--Primo Belt Drives, First on Board with AHDRA in 2002

Winston-Salem, NC, December 17, 2001-
AHDRA announces the return of Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives as Title sponsor for the Arizona Bike Week Nationals, Presenting sponsor of the Rocky Mountain Nitro Nationals and new for 2002, Title Sponsor of the Super Gas 9.90 Index Class.

“We are extremely pleased to have Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives on board with us for 2002”, AHDRA’s, Craig Tharpe, commented. “Not only are they first to sign for 2002, they are the first to sponsor the competitive 9.90 index, Super Gas Class. This is exciting news for both the sanction and the racers, as the naming of “Rivera-Primo Super Gas” will add additional dollars to the winner’s purse and increases the 2002 National Championship award”.

The AHDRA will return to Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, AZ on April 6 & 7th for the “Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives Arizona Bike Week Nationals”. On June 15th & 16th, the National Points Series will head to Bandimere Speedway in Denver, CO for the “Rocky Mountain Nitro Nationals presented by Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives”.

The AHDRA welcomes Mel Magnet and Ben Kudon and the entire staff from Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives on board for the 2002 season.
