AHDRA GRAND FINALE HEADS TO VEGAS WITH "HIGH STAKES" AT THE JIMS USA LAS VEGAS NATIONALS, OCTOBER 18TH AND 19TH
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., October 9, 2003 - AHDRA is loading the trucks at its Winston-Salem headquarters in preparation for a gigantic 2003 season finale at The Strip, Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
AHDRA President Craig Tharpe says this year's JIMS USA Las
Vegas Nationals will be a huge celebration for the many riders, sponsors, and fans who have supported AHDRA throughout the 2003 season. "We've all endured grueling weather conditions, a hectic schedule in June, and the many triumphs and disappointments that go hand-in-hand with racing," Tharpe commented. "Through it all, we have made it through another season, and we are headed to Vegas with high hopes for those celebrating their many accomplishments. And we are even more pumped up for a bigger and better 2004 season."
JIMS USA is back on board for another year in the title sponsorship role at the Las Vegas finale, and Marketing Director at JIMS USA, Paul Platts, says he wouldn't have it any other way. "We are planning a poker run that will depart from JIMS USA and arrive at AHDRA's host hotel, Sam's Town, on Friday morning," Platts explained. "There's at least fifty of us coming, and we're excited to be a part of AHDRA and one of their biggest events of the year."
The celebration begins on Friday, October 17, when JIMS USA hosts the annual JIMS Rolling Bones party at the Harley-Davidson Café in Las Vegas beginning at 8:00 p.m. AHDRA riders will be on hand to greet their fans along with their race bikes that they have been known to fire up right on the spot for nitro-craving fans.
