AHDRA ACTION RETURNS TO BRISTOL DRAGWAY AUGUST 14TH AND 15TH FOR THE S & S CYCLE THUNDER IN THE VALLEY NATIONALS PRESENTED BY SMITH BROTHERS HARLEY-DAVIDSON

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, AUGUST 3, 2003 - AHDRA brings one of the biggest shows of the 2004 season to Bristol Dragway on August 14th and 15th.

Despite an interruption by rain at last year's meet, more than 10,000 nitro hungry fans packed the premier facility nestled fifteen hundred feet in the Blue Ridge Mountains at Bristol, TN. AHDRA plans to give fans plenty more 2-wheel excitement at this year's event with the top guns of the sport battling it out on the quarter mile strip.

S & S Cycle returns as title sponsor of the event with a huge Manufacturers Row display and the famous T-Shirt cannon will be there firing out free S & S t-shirts in the grandstands.

Presenting sponsor Smith Brothers Harley-Davidson returns for another year and will lead off the action with the AHDRA Nitro party on Friday, August 13th from 4:00-7:00pm. Race fans can stop and meet the racers and get a peek at their nitro-burning machines.

Racing gets under way on Saturday with qualifying at 9:00a.m. On Sunday, sportsman eliminations begin at 9:00a.m. followed by pro eliminations at 12:30p.m. Gates open both days at 8:00a.m.

Admission to the S & S Cycle Thunder in the Valley Nationals presented by Smith Brothers Harley-Davidson is $40 for the weekend, with single day passes for $25. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate and children 11 and under are admitted free.

Weekend camping is available at Bristol Dragway starting on Friday, August 13th for an additional $25 and includes live entertainment Saturday night featuring the Smyle Band from Winston-Salem, N.C.

Discount tickets are available at Smith Brothers Harley-Davidson, Colbach Harley-Davidson, Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson, Crossroads Harley-Davidson and Caldwell's Speed and Custom Shop.

A weekend full of great racing, camping, vendors, live entertainment and more will make this a must-see event!
