Winston-Salem, NC July 29, 2009 - After a July break off from racing, the All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) will return to more exciting two wheel competition at the Rush Thunder in the Valley Nationals in Bristol, TN on August 8th and 9th.
With the arrival of the mid-season mark in the Screamin' Eagle Championship Series, the competition is expected to be stronger than ever. Fans can expect to see plenty of fast action and speeds in excess of 200mph on the quarter-mile strip from Screamin' Eagle Top Fuel racers like: 2008 National Champion-Phil Schmidt, Jay Turner (who is currently leading in points), Joe Sternotti, Steve Dorn, Mike Romine, and Tracy Kile to just mention a few.
AHDRA offers sixteen classes of competition with three nitro classes, modified gas bikes, street bikes and more with over $40,000 up for grabs!
In addition to the racing action, a huge array of vendors and manufacturers will be on hand at Bristol Dragway with everything from jewelry, clothing, and sunglass. The PR Factory Store will be there also with motorcycle parts and accessories that are sure to please everyone.
This event has grown to become one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. Bristol Dragway is a premier facility nestled fifteen hundred feet in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Tennessee. The thunder and roar of Harley drag racing in the valley is something everyone needs to hear and see!
