AHDRA HEADS WEST THIS WEEKEND FOR PLENTY OF RACING AND A SPECIAL CELEBRATION FOR CHILDREN HOSPITAL AND REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
WINSTON-SALEM, NC, June 22, 2005-AHDRA continues the quest for championship titles this weekend at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA.
Over 100 racers have already joined the roster, the most on record for pre-registration at the Kresto Pacific Nationals presented by Destination, Downtown and Eastside Harley-Davidson dealers.
The pre-race rush on registration indicates a huge weekend of racing is ahead as riders from the east and west meet to compete for the coveted championship titles in 15 classes of competition.
In addition to the powerful show on the quarter- mile strip, fans and racers alike will be a part of a heartfelt fundraiser marking it's 10-year anniversary.
On Sunday, June 26, motorcycle riders from all over the Northwest will participate in Children's Ride 10. The ride benefits uncompensated care and diabetes research at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. The previous nine rides have raised over $800,000 for Children's Hospital.
Nearly 1000 riders have already signed up for the ride procession that will depart from Quest Field and arrive at Pacific Raceways. This year, the ride will feature celebrity escorts, Paul Yaffe and Arlen Ness.
Riders will arrive and enjoy lunch, a performance by the Seattle Cossacks, loads of vendors and of course the thrills of Harley drag racing.

Racing gets under way Saturday with qualifying a 9:00am. On Sunday, eliminations for sportsman classes begin at 9:00am, and the Pros take the track at 1:00pm.
Admission is $40 for the weekend or $25 for a single day pass. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate and children 11 and under are admitted free.
AHDRA offers free admission to active military and reserve personnel.
