AHDRA Welcomes Children's Ride 7 to 2002 Kresto Pacific Nationals!

Summer Motorcycle Event to Benefit Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center

On Sunday, June 30, motorcycle riders from all over the Northwest will participate in Children's Ride 7. Seattle Defensive Tackle, Chad Eaton will lead the escorted ride from the new Seattle Seahawk Stadium to Pacific Raceways (formerly Seattle Int'l Raceway) for the (AHDRA) Kresto Pacific Nationals presented by Destination Harley-Davidson and Eastside Harley-Davidson. The ride will depart Seattle Seahawk Stadium at 10:00am.

Ride registration will include admission to the AHDRA races on Sunday, June 30. Ride participants will experience the excitement of Harley Drag racing with the best riders from the U.S. and Canada as they compete for $50,000 in cash and prizes. Also included in the ride registration is a gourmet BBQ presented by Lowell-Hunt Catering, a silent auction, a ride-in motorcycle show and live musical entertainment featuring Smokin' Gun.

Additional revenue is generated through the sale of raffle tickets on a 2002 Harley-Davidson Road King. Tully's Coffee has generously underwritten the raffle motorcycle.

Raffle tickets are $5 each and available for purchase at Tully's Coffee stores and participating western Washington Harley-Davidson dealerships. The winner will be drawn at the Children's Ride 7 event. This is the fifth year that Tully' Coffee has underwritten the Children's Ride raffle motorcycle.

Proceeds from Children's Ride 7 and the Harley-Davidson Road King raffle benefit uncompensated care at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, which assures quality care to all children of the Northwest regardless of their ability to pay. The previous six rides have raised over $600,000 for Children's Hospital. Last year's event attracted over 1,000 motorcycles and raised $203,000.
