NEXT UP: RACING IN THE ROCKIES - BANDIMERE SPEEDWAY, DENVER, COLORADO, JUNE 14TH AND 15TH

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, June 10, 2003 - AHDRA continues a four-in-a-row June sweep at this weekend's Colorado Nitro Nationals, presented by Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson and Sun Harley-Davidson at Bandimere Speedway.

As a result of Sunday rain in Norwalk, Ohio, forcing the racing to go into the wee hours (the event was finally completed on Monday), AHDRA staff and competitors will be working at a rapid pace to prepare for this weekend's event at Bandimere Speedway.

Racers from the U.S. and Canada will make their way to Denver for what promises to be a weekend full of thundering horsepower on the quarter-mile strip.

AHDRA offers sixteen classes of competition, including the 200 mph Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harleys, modified gas bikes, Pro Stock, street bikes, junior dragsters, and more.

The excitement begins on Friday at the AHDRA Kick Start Party hosted by Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson, located at 1303 SW Frontage Road, Ft. Collins, CO. Fans can stop by for an up-close look at AHDRA race bikes, entertainment, and more. The party begins at 6:00 p.m.

Racing gets under way at Bandimere Speedway on Saturday with qualifying at 9:00 a.m. On Sunday, sportsman eliminations begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by Pro eliminations at 12:30 p.m.

Admission to the Colorado Nitro Nationals presented by Thunder Mountain Harley-Davidson and Sun Harley-Davidson is $40 for the weekend, and single-day passes are $25. H.O.G. Members receive a $5 discount at the gate and children under 12 are admitted free.
