JIM MCCLURE

On Friday, April 2, 2004 our beloved friend Jim McClure passed away following complications from his recent heart transplant. AHDRA extends our prayers and condolences to Phyllis and the entire McClure family.

Jim was admired, treasured and loved by many. A hero at home and on the drag strip, he will be missed by all of us. His endless contributions to the drag racing industry and his constant kindness and caring which touched so very many lives will never be forgotten.

He fought his battle with a positive attitude and great courage, as one would expect from this exceptional man.

Jim McClure held nine AHDRA National Championships with AHDRA and he leaves us still a Champion like no other.

We are all so very blessed to have known you and been a part of such greatness.

Good-bye to you our dear friend. We love you and we will miss you.

Services for Jim McClure:
The viewing will be from the Bucktrout Funeral Home, Williamsburg, VA. from 5-8pm on Monday. 757-229-3822. The services will be from Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, VA. Tuesday at 2pm. 804-966-2659.
