JIMS, USA TRIPLES THE EXCITEMENT IN 2003!

WINSTON-SALEM,N.C., MARCH 13, 2003- AHDRA announced the signing of JIMS, USA for the 2003 season as a double class sponsor and title sponsor of the JIMS Las Vegas Nationals, October 18th & 19th. JIMS, USA has a loyal history with AHDRA, including a successful reign as the Top Fuel sponsor and prominent sponsor of the JIMS Las Vegas Nationals. This year they will shift their sponsorship involvement to include Pro Fuel and Junior-Senior competition as well as the finals in Las Vegas. With speeds at the 200mph mark and reaching 6 second zones, JIMS Pro Fuel is reserved for "high gear only" nitro burning dragsters, built specifically for all out drag racing.

The JIMS Junior Senior class showcases the future stars of AHDRA and is reserved for street legal or non-street legal single or twin cylinder motorcycles with any frame configurations. Riders are ages 11-16 and are allowed to run an 8.90 E.T or slower on the 1/8th mile. Jim Thiessen, President and Owner of JIMS USA says he is happy to support the youth involvement and looks forward to having his son, Robert join the junior competition this year.

To further support Harley sportsmanship, JIMS also sponsors an assortment of individual class racers with the highest- grade performance parts for use on Harley-Davidsons.

Paul Platts, Marketing Manager of JIMS says the support from JIMS and other class sponsors guarantee that Harley drag racing will have a place for Harley enthusiasts for years to come as well as widening the door for mainstream Harley sportsmanship.

AHDRA President, Craig Tharpe says the level of involvement from JIMS is incredible.
