RACE DAY REPORT FROM GAINESVILLE

The All Harley Drag Racing Association sparked up the new season with sunshine and cool air when competitors brought fresh tires to the smooth track at Gainesville, Fla., in early March 2005. Much of the northern USA was smothered in snow, but the dry track in Gatorville was exposed to nothing but steady sunshine and fast tires.

We bring you quick images in this report of some of your favorite motorcycle drag racing standouts of the AHDRA.

First we bring you sunshine and grit. These images need no captions. We warn those that are not in Florida during this warm week that the brightness and temperate appearance of busy humans at a functioning racetrack without heavy winter gear – may be damaging to emotions.

Here at Gainesville Raceway we suspect that finding an operating stone fireplace would require a search of many miles.

Finding fresh speed is but an eyeful away.
