S & S CYCLE ON BOARD STRONGER THAN EVER FOR 2004 AHDRA SEASON

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., January 19, 2004 - AHDRA is pleased to announce phenomenal sponsorship support from S & S Cycle for the upcoming season of competition.

S & S Cycle will sponsor three classes of competition - including Pro Stock, Pro Gas, and Super Sport - and will also be the title sponsor of AHDRA events in Bakersfield, CA; Budds Creek, MD; and Bristol, TN.

Once again, S & S Cycle has posted a stellar $10,000 grand prize purse for the 2004 National Points Champion in S & S Pro Stock competition. They will also put forth an S & S Pro Gas National Champion posting of $2,000, which doubles the 2003 payout. In S & S Super Sport, the National Champion posting more than triples the 2003 cash with a $1,000 grand prize to the champ.

S & S Cycle will pay five places in the National Champion Points purse with increases across the board in all three classes for a grand total of over $20,000 going to the top five National spots in 2004.

"Working with the AHDRA is a natural for the S&S Race Department," says S&S Race Department Manager Jody Anderson. "We have been working hard over the past year to develop some new configurations and restructure our sponsorship program to better support the AHDRA, the various classes, and ultimately the racers. We anticipate an exciting turnout for the 2004 race season!"

Said S&S President Brett Smith, "S&S made a conscious decision to step up and support the AHDRA in a big way in 2003 by sponsoring Bristol and Budd's Creek. This year we added Bakersfield, a race we believe will become the West Coast centerpiece. Furthermore, we added Pro Gas and Super Sport to last year's class sponsorship, Pro Stock."

Brett went on to say, "We wanted to support the sanction through event sponsorship and the racers through class sponsorship. However, having a healthy sanction and well-sponsored classes is not enough. S&S wanted to combine that with solid competition. So we spent time getting some new configurations, put together this past fall and winter, that will allow many new racers to become competitive immediately. It started out with the Street Pro engine last August but has moved on to others as well. Putting on a competitive show will entertain the spectators. And that's important because that's who supports us all in the end."

In 2004, the AHDRA will host 14 events across the U.S., with the season opener March 2nd and 3rd at Gainesville Raceway.
