AHDRA Sponsorships Underway for 2002 - Red Line Oil, Dave O’Hara Race Technologies New for 2002 Season

January 8, 2002-Winston-Salem, NC -AHDRA announced today the signing of new and returning sponsors for the 2002 season.

Red Line Oil, a well-known name in the racing industry has posted over $22,000 in awards that includes winnings in all 14 classes of competition. Tim Kerrigan, President of Red Line Oil was on hand at several AHDRA events during the 2001 season, including the JIMS Las Vegas Nationals, where Kerrigan got an early jump on sponsorship, posting Red Line Oil winnings for the Vegas event. Kerrigan reports that he is pleased with the growth and professionalism the sport has achieved. The AHDRA welcomes the entire staff of Red Line Oil on board.

Also on board for 2002, is Dave O’Hara Race Technologies. O’Hara, from Surrey B.C. Canada, is a Top Fuel Rider with AHDRA with a 2nd place finish in the 2001 Western Division along with a 2nd place finish in the CMDRA.  A long time supporter of the sport, Dave O’Hara says he wanted to give something back to the sport by posting winnings on behalf of Dave O’Hara Technologies.  Contingency winnings will be awarded in Top Fuel and Pro Fuel competition, totaling nearly $5,000. The AHDRA is pleased to have Dave and his team as a first time sponsor in 2002.

Vanson Leathers returns to the AHDRA contingency program in 2002, with postings totaling over $22,000. Alan Slavin and the staff at Vanson will also return as an Associate Sponsor providing 14 championship leather jackets for the National points champions.  Welcome back Vanson Leathers.

Returning for Contingency support, event sponsorship, and a first time Super Gas class sponsorship is Rivera Engineering and Primo Belt Drives.
