We wrapped up a great action packed day here at Sturgis Dragway and the ladders are set for a full day of eliminations tomorrow.

Fan turnout was impressive and tomorrow looks to bring out even more.

With the busy day here at the track, and a few less AHDRA staffers that are busy getting us ready for Bristol- I had to give up the result posting duties here to handle the many media reps and to keep the track computer running (best I could anyway). But as promised I will post the final outcome tonight when I get back to my room. No worries next weekend in Bristol…You will have Stephanie at the keyboards there and making sure you catch all the action as it happens!

Looks like thanks to a lot of sunshine and a nice breeze -the track is almost race-ready after the rain delay.

We will resume action with Round Two of the Pro’s shortly. The sportsman classes completed a 2^nd session and we will lead off round two of the Pro’s with Street Pro.

We are having issues with printing qualifying order on this TSI system here in Sturgis, but we will get it worked out later. I’ll post any reports and results as time allows and if all else fails..I’ll hang around tonight after we are off the track and get the numbers posted!

The Sportsman completed round two of qualifying and rain showers arrived just prior to the start of the Pro’s 2^nd shot. We are on a rain delay and will be back in action as soon as possible. I’ll be back shortly with the sportsman 2^nd round results.

Griz Robinson carries the front wheel all the way to the traps and the crowd literally went wild! Haven’t heard that much noise from the stands in a while- they loved it. Robinson’s pit was filled several hundred deep with fans following the round. Also getting some raised eyebrows and plenty of cheers was Norway entry- Svein Rolfstad on the super charged blower entry!

Greetings from Sturgis!!! We are gearing up for today’s how under very pleasant sunny conditions and a slight breeze. The bikers are roaring through the gate to catch the race action that gets underway at 1:00pm. Fans were obviously eager as over 500 of them came in just to see yesterday’s test and tune session!

No official count on race entries yet, but so far it looks like it will top off at just over the 100 bike mark. Quite a few are planning to pull out tomorrow and make the quick haul to Bristol- just as we, the staff will be doing.

We will bring you hourly updates on today’s qualifying right here on this page once things get underway. I’m solo in the tower at this one as Stephanie heads on over toBristol to get things set-up for us there. (I miss you already Steph!)
