event completed and the skies open up with more rain! Great job by the Sturgis staff and especially to all the
racers for getting in the lanes promptly to beat the weather! Congratulations to all the winners here

this one off!!

The rain has stopped and the sun is shining. Thanks to the sunshine and a good
breeze the track drying process is going remarkably well. We hope to be running again within the
hour.

Rain continues in Sturgis. We are waiting it out here at Sturgis Dragway and will run
under the lights should the skies clear and we can get the track dry. Competition was interrupted following a
completed first session of eliminationÕs.
The Syn3 ET class has run one round and waiting to run a 2nd
round before being laddered. We
will let you know how the forecast looks for todayÕs show as we continue to
watch the weather system.

The
sun was shining brightly and racing running along and showers arrive
unexpectedly. We are now on a rain
delay! We will have at least an
hour of track clearing to do once the shower passes through so stay tuned for
more this afternoon when racing resumes.

proudly welcomed a ride from the Harley-Davidson CVO group this morning. 300 riders came in on the ride and will
enjoy lunch at the big end and all the action today from Sturgis Dragway.

Despite the rain delay- todayÕs three sessions when off perfectly. A great media attendance today at
Sturgis, including a film crew from Harley-Davidson, Michael Lichter shooting
for EasyRiders, and international reps from Hot Bike Japan, Freeway
Harley-Davidson Magazine out of France and lots more!

The
showers have arrived in Sturgis with a few thunder- storms as well.
The
radar shows we are at the tail end of the system and if mother- nature
participates, it appears it will blow through within the hour. Once the storm has passed, the track
crew will begin working to get the track in race-ready condition.

5th Test and Tune Day
Good afternoon
from Sturgis Dragway. We are under
very warm sunny skies here in Sturgis as we wrap up the final hour of todayÕs
test and tune. No breaking news from the performance end on the test session as
everyone adjusts to the track.
100 bikes are
currently teched in for this weekendÕs non-pointÕs meet and more rolling in at
the gate.
We will begin
qualifying tomorrow (Sunday) at 1:00pm with the sportsman categories.

advised that we will be carrying your qualifying information here on this page
instead of the qualifying pages.

the rounds right here.
