7:02pm – ThatÕs a wrap! ItÕs been a crazy weekend here at Numidia Dragway. WeÕve had records broken, riders go down, weather issues, etc. You name it, it happened! But overall it was a great weekend! Please keep both Douglas Horne and John Breckenridge in your thoughts this week. They both wound up going to the hospital to get checked out. They are both tough competitors and we hope to see them back at Norwalk! Thank you to everyone who came out to the first (and hopefully not the last) year of this race here at Numidia. See you in two weeks at Norwalk! - Donna

3:42pm – This day has been anything but uneventful! Right now weÕre on a break from Top Fuel Round 2 of qualifying. Douglas Horne just made an incredible pass. Unfortunately right after he went off his bike at 200+mph. His bike went up over the hill, down another 700 feet of asphalt, through the sand trap, through the fence, and landed in the neighborsÕ field while he went tumbling down the track. He is up and moving but has been transported for safety. His bike on the other hand has yet to be determined but I canÕt imagine that it could be good. Hopefully he will make a speedy recovery. Keep him and his family in your thoughts. John Breckinridge also took a spill this morning in Round 1. He was up and moving and was not transported but also keep him in your thoughts for a speedy recovery as well. We also had an oil spill that put us out of commission for close to an hour too. Although the weather has been weighing on our minds it seems to be the least of our problems right now. We should be getting started again soon. Stay tuned for more updates.

12:36pm – This update is a little late but we have begun racing. This morning we ran two rounds of eliminations in Syn 3 ET. We are working on Round 1 of Top Fuel right now. Will we set new records again today? I guess weÕll have to wait and see. Check back throughout the day for updates! - Donna

7:05pm – Well we were able to get it all in today and boy what a day it was! We have 3 new mph records as of right now and we could have more tomorrow. The new mph record holders as of right now are Jim Sweet (V-Rod), Douglas Horne (Pro Fuel), and Andy Simon (Pro Stock). ItÕs been a great weekend so far and weÕre hoping that tomorrow will be even better. We will be running two rounds of ET in the morning starting at 10:00am. No other classes will run in the morning. See you all tomorrow! - Donna

6:00pm – We are going into Round 3 of qualifying for Top Fuel. Stevie has been banned from having any sugar and weÕve duct taped him to his chair. IÕm trying to keep him under control but IÕm not making any promises. LetÕs see a new record! - Donna

4:15pm – I am at a loss for words. These guys are laying down some numbers here today! ItÕs not official yet but we possibly have 3 new mph records in 3 different pro classes!! If you are not here, you are missing some unbelievable racing. I have StevieÕs high blood pressure pills ready up here because IÕve never seen him so excited! The results are up for qualifying round 2 and we are moving right along into qualifying round 3. We are ready to set some records! Stay tuned! - Donna

2:02pm – Well, round 1 of qualifying is finally in the books. We had to stop for some sprinkles but weÕre hoping to get the rest of the day in without any other stops. With the exception of the rain, the weather is perfect and these bikes are putting down some good numbers. -Donna

9:20am – Good Morning racers and fans! It looks like today is going to be a beautiful day. WeÕre running now and weÕre working on our first round of sportsman qualifying. ThatÕs all for now. - Donna
