Good morning from Woodburn Dragstrip.

The sun is shinning and is about 61 degrees outside with a 5mph wind. The forecast is abundant sunshine in the mid 70’s.

We are doing a free test-n-tune this morning for any of the sportsman racer since we will not have any elimination runs before opening ceremonies. The lanes are packed and everyone seems to be taking advantage of the opportunity to dial their bike in and make any final adjustments.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 12:15 with the Screamin’ Eagle Top Fuel Nitro Harley starting the show off for the North West Nationals presented by Latus Motors Harley Davidson.

Check back and watch your favorite rider on the Elimination ladders. I will update here with any breaking news as the day goes on.

All the exciting qualifying action has been completed here at the Screamin’ Eagle Northwest Nationals presented by Latus Motors Harley Davidson. All ladders and qualifying runs have been posted.

Racing will begin tomorrow at 12:30 starting off with out Screamin’ Eagle Top Fuel Harleys .

3^rd round of qualifying has started.

Jim Sweet set a new record in V-Rod with a 145.86 in the second round and then came back in third round to back it up. The next one up though, Lou Gerencer who was the previous holder, would take that record right back and run a 146.74.

Good morning from Woodburn Dragstrip. It is just a beautiful morning 64 degrees out right now. The sun is shining and qualifying has begun an hour later than normal due to the classes sizes this weekend. We do have about 130 bikes here though and still have them coming in the gate to register.
