Good morning from Woodburn under cool sunny skies. The temps are expected in mid to high
70Õs today- great conditions here at Woodburn Dragstrip. YesterdayÕs temps were much warmer (mid
80Õs), but as the sun faded away, the conditions improved- just ask Phil

yesterday evening and clocked a 6.40 (207mph)..the quickest lap of his
career. Doug Vancil says the track
indeed improved later in the day after he grabbed a 6.50 himself.
LetÕs hope for those continued conditions today as we
prepare for todayÕs qualifying sessions that begin at 9:00am.
