7:19pm –
We are currently on rain delay. Pro Gas Final was on the line and we had to
stop for rain. We still need to run Pro Gas, Pro Fuel, Pro Stock, and Top Fuel.
The track staff is pushing water off the track now and weÕre waiting to see
what happens next. - Donna
6:16pm
– We moved through Rounds 2 an 3 pretty quickly. Finals are starting now!
- Donna
5:18pm
– Round 1 is in the books and weÕre rolling straight into Round 2. Mother
nature could put us on hold at any minute so weÕre trying to run as quickly as
possible. ItÕs going to be a late night! - Donna
1:39pm
– WeÕre on hold again for rain. IÕm sorry that I didnÕt get an update on
here this morning. We were delayed for a while because of rain and then it was
stop and go once we finally got started. We are finishing up ŌmorningĶ
eliminations now. Then weÕll go right into the main show. We are battling with
mother nature here this weekend. Luckily, the track staff here is wonderful and
are very experienced with drying the track. I believe this is the 10th
time theyÕve dried the track this weekend! Hopefully weÕll be back to racing
soon. ItÕs going to be a long nightÉstay tuned! - Donna

7:52pm
– ThatÕs all for today. We were able to get in two full rounds between
rain. All qualifying and ladders are up for tomorrow. We will be running
morning eliminations at 9:30am. The track staff here was great today drying the
track in a timely manner so that we could get our racing in. We also had a
special treat up here in the tower – Douglas Horne joined Steve to
announce the Pro bikes. He gave some great insight and was a pleasure to have.
Hopefully heÕll make it back up here tomorrow. Have a great night! - Donna
2:15pm
– Well, we were able to get one round of qualifying in. We started round
2 but are currently on hold for rain. The people here believe that the rain
will be stopping soon and they will be able to clean the track up in a timely
manner. Keep your fingers crossed! - Donna
9:56am
– After getting hit with a nasty thunderstorm last night, we woke up to a
beautiful morning. This should be a promising weekend. We have a nice bike
count, enthusiastic racers and fans, and weÕre giving away a bike today! We are
currently working on Round 1 of sportsman qualifying and things seem to be
moving smoothly. Stay tuned! - Donna
