Good afternoon from Bradenton Motorsports Park. We are off to a very windy start at the Florida H-D Association Bike Week Nationals, which has unfortunately delayed Pro qualifying. After several Pro Fuel runs, it was determined that the conditions were unsafe. The sportsman are running currently, and have reported no problem with the headwind. We will continue to bring you any updates or results that occur.

As many of you may have heard, Tony Mattioli was injured during last night's test and tune session, while riding Sam White's bike.
Mattioli has a concussion, and is expected to be released today or tomorrow. More info coming on the accident and his condition shortly.
If we should experience further internet trouble, log on to stripbike.com and go to the Bulletin Board, where we will try to provide updates on the race conditions and updates.

The latest from Bradenton Motorsports Park..
We have completed three rounds of sportsman qualifying. We will run all eliminations tomorrow.
Sunday's schedule will kick off with one round of Pro qualifying only and then all Elimination's will begin. Qualifying results will be posted quickly as possible.
It was a tough day, but everyone handled the situation and schedule changes with complete professionlism. We hope the windy conditions will be gone tomorrow.. wish us luck!

*Stan Verheijen was injured earlier and is in surgery for injuries on his hand. He is reported to be doing well.
*Tony Mattioli was released from the hospital yesterday, and he and Colleen are spending time with Jim & Phyllis McClure before returning home.
*William Hostetler was injured in ET competition, and will be released in the morning with a broken finger and road rash.

Just getting in from Florida and wanted to pass along info I received before leaving.
Stan was going to have surgery on his hand which had many fractures. He also has fractures to the lower part of his leg, which they will cast. I understand they will then fly him home.
He has been alert, although understandably in a bit of pain. They did roll him outside for a bit after he requested a Diet Coke and a Smoke!
Tony and Colleen Mattioli are back at home.
Reports say that he is still quite dizzy from the concussion. I am sure Colleen will add updates when she is rested.

William Hostetler was to be released this morning after being treated for a good dose of road rash and a broken finger.

This was a tough one this weekend, hope everyone gets well real soon.
The rest of the AHDRA crew will return home later in the week, so points will be posted later in the week. Over 300 racers..lots of rounds..lots of tech cards so bare with us..we will get them on asap.
