4:58pm – Well, Luck was on our side today! We didn’t have any issues with the track and the water seeping up. Although we did break a few cones today :o). It was a beautiful weekend here at Bristol. Check out the results for the finals. I hope everyone that was here had a great time. See you all in Woodburn!!

12:40pm – Opening ceremonies are finished and Round 1 of eliminations in Top Fuel is underway. Should be a great day for racing!

11:00am – Good Morning everyone. Morning eliminations are complete and the updated ladders for the SEP, Super Gas, and ET classes are posted. Good Luck racers!

11:03pm – Three rounds of qualifying are in the books. We will have morning eliminations for SEP, Super Gas, and ET. Night qualifying was definitely something to see. The Peace Pipe band will be playing until about midnight. See you all in the morning!

6:11pm – We are working on Round 2 of sportsman eliminations. The track is dry and things are moving smoothly. Keep your eyes out for the qualifying results.

2:58pm – We are fighting a losing battle on this track. Water continues to percolate and we cannot safely conduct this qualifying session. The rider’s safety is our utmost concern. We are going to suspend qualifying for now. That’s the bad news. The good news is we are going to resume qualifying at 5:30pm and complete the two remaining rounds. That means we all get to see these nitro bikes under the lights and get to enjoy the cooler evening air.

That gives us all about 2 hours to kill. We invite you to walk the pits and talk with the riders and crew. You also have the opportunity to take a ride down 421 and ride through the beautiful Tennessee mountains. It’s about 15 miles down to Holston Dam Lake and several great sites.

We apologize for this delay but we hope you all agree that we don’t want to set anyone up to get hurt. So, do something you enjoy for a couple hours and get back here for the fastest and quickest Harleys in the world! See you all soon!

Good Morning Racers and Fans! The weather is beautiful, the racers are ready, and we are rolling right along into sportsman eliminations. It feels good to be back racing after having a month off. It looks like it’s going to be a fun weekend. Stay tuned for updates…
