AHDRA welcomes Media coverage from your organization. In order to maintain regulations regarding contractual obligations and safety when entering restricted areas at AHDRA events, we have established guidelines for obtaining Media/Press credentials.
Applying for Credentials
In order to obtain Press Credentials for an AHDRA Event, you must submit a request in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the event on your publication/media outlet letterhead.
You will also need to state your purpose such as story writing, photos, etc. We ask that you supply a copy of your publication that includes your writing or photography work.
Media credentials are issued to working media only. Family members or anyone accompanying you at the event without a legitimate assignment must purchase a regular admission ticket and are not allowed in the restricted areas.
Media personnel arriving at AHDRA events without prior arrangements for credentials will be required to pay admission. You may then proceed to the control tower to request a media credential upon presenting proper identification.
Exceptions may be made for local television news and newspaper personnel.
Media representatives must agree to refrain from using photos or video recordings for any other purpose than news reporting. The sale of photos or video recordings is not allowed without prior consent from the AHDRA.
(Due to exclusive broadcast rights, absolutely no video recordings can be made without prior consent from AHDRA).
Media participants must remain Behind the Concrete Barrier and clear of the track surface. Only AHDRA hired and specifically approved media persons are allowed in the burnout and starting line area.
No exceptions.
To apply for credentials please submit your request to AHDRA Media.
